Youlande Biosah is the cofounder of Mindful Equity UK, a consultancy with a mission to significantly increase the number of Black and Asian women in the teaching profession, while also promoting their advancement into leadership roles within education. She is also Vice Principal at Al Azm Charter School, operated by Taaleem in Abu Dhabi. With 11 years of teaching and 8 years in senior leadership, she excels in school improvement, curriculum development, and advancing academic achievement.

An advocate for diverse leadership in education, Youlande has chaired equity and inclusion boards, including the exam board, OCR’s Equity Board while currently sat on the board of Trustees for The Outward Bound Trust. She holds a BSc in Psychology and an MA in Education Leadership from UCL, with research focusing on race, agency, and leadership.

Certified in IB leadership and safeguarding, she is dedicated to fostering high-quality teaching, inclusivity, and continuous staff development.
