Ranata is a Professional Learning Designer at the Education Development Institute (EDI) in Doha, Qatar. EDI is a member of the Qatar Foundation. She has been in education for 18 years serving in the roles of Physical Education teacher, CAS Coordinator, Homeless Liaison, Athletic Director, Grade Level Leader, and Assistant Principal and holds her principal certification. Ranata enjoys reading, writing and listening to podcasts and audiobooks. Her research interest is principal self-efficacy, principal instructional leadership practices, culturally responsive practices and DEIJ-B in the international context. Ranata is passionate about volunteering her time to organizations that support youth with limited access to educational growth opportunities.
