He began his career in science education, progressing quickly into middle and senior leadership, where he has led large academic teams and driven teaching and learning excellence. His leadership has supported schools through successive outstanding inspections and strengthened professional development cultures across diverse contexts. Internationally, he is recognised as a consultant, trainer, and author, delivering workshops in multiple countries and publishing widely used teaching resources. He also contributes to teacher training at postgraduate level and advises on educational policy through regional councils.
