Fatiah Touray

Assistant Vice Chancellor Global Inclusion- New York University Abu Dhabi

Fatiah Touray, Esq., is the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Global Inclusion at NYU Abu Dhabi, where she leads institutional efforts to advance inclusion, diversity, equity, and belonging across a globally diverse campus community. In addition to her higher education leadership, she brings direct K–12 experience as a former high school math and English teacher at Bushwick Community High School in Brooklyn, NY. She also serves on the Board of the American Community School of Abu Dhabi, where she chairs the Policy Committee and leads the Belonging Task Force, focusing on inclusive practices that shape student learning and school culture. A licensed attorney, Fatiah’s career spans law, non-profit leadership, and education. She previously served as the inaugural Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Special Assistant to the President at Sarah Lawrence College, and as Assistant Dean of Diversity and International Advising at NYU. She holds a JD from Howard University School of Law, an M.S.Ed. from Brooklyn College, and a B.A. in Journalism and Africana Studies from NYU.
