| Charlotte Whelan is Head of School at Forest Gate Community School an outstanding school in the London Borough of Newham, an area of considerable deprivation, having recently been Deputy Head for Pastoral care and Assistant Headteacher at the school. Charlotte has been with the school throughout its journey from ‘Requires Improvement’ to being in the top 50 schools for progress in the country for the last three years and is very aware of the team effort it takes to ensure exceptional outcomes for all students. Charlotte has been instrumental in creating a high performing, supportive culture where staff and students thrive.
